Shana
Owner of Inner Essence, Licensed Massage Therapist since 2000 specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Heated Stone, Prenatal, Myofacial Release, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Sports Massage and advanced medicinal aromatherapist. Shana also has been an Energy Medicine Practitioner since 2004, a licensed esthetican since , and also has a B.S in Exercise Science. Shana is always available for a wide range of needs.
Wendy
Wendy has been a practicing LMT since 1990 as well as a practicing Esthetician since 2010. Over the past 30 years she has added numerous techniques and applications to her repertoire. Specializing in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofacial release, Manuel Lymphatic Drainage, Shiatsu, Ashiatsu, Cuppy Therapy, Reflexology, Pre-Natal and other miscellaneous techniques. Wendy has training in Hypnotherapy, Aromatherapy, Nutritional Counseling, and has a 600 hour Yoga teacher training certificate.
Vilena
Vilena is a dynamic, professionally trained Licensed Massage Therapist. She knows how to customize the therapeutic massage treatment to best fit your needs. She graduated from CCMT of Westport in 2012. Vilena specializes in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pre-Natal, Sport, Aromatherapy, and Hot Stone Massages with a special training in Deep Tissue through Soft Touch and Trigger Point Therapy. She is also a licensed Esthetician who also does Microdermabrasion treatment as well as ultrasound and high frequency facials. Vilena specializes as well in rehabilitation from injury and has helped numerous clients successfully recover after injuries. Speaks both Russian and English.
Ula
Urszula "Ula" has been a licensed massage therapist since 2007. She makes a personal connection with each client to make their massage experience therapeutic, relaxing and stress free. Ula utilizes a combination of techniques and is very attentive to individual client's needs. Trained and skilled in sweedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal and sports massage, her philosophy and passion is to understand the needs of each client and provide a unique experience with the goal of bringing ultimate benefits and relaxation during and long after each session.
Jassi
Jassi is the welcome committee 5 days a week. She is at the front desk communicating to clients through phone website and email, as well as showing guests in when they arrive and helping them to feel comfortable and at ease. She also has certification from Brio Academy in aesthetics since 2013, is a Certified in Lash Extensions, and holds a level 1 certification in medicinal aromatherapy.. In addition, she is well versed in waxing services, makeup applications and even skin care. Jassi speaks both English and Spanish.
Leanne
Leanne has been a licensed massage therapist since 2000. She is a graduate of CT. Center for Massage Therapy in Newington, CT. Her specialties and favorite massages include swedish, deep tissue, stretching, ALL sprinkled with Thai massage. She is also a Licensed Esthetician specializing in full body waxing for over 30 years. Leanne has worked at Inner Essence Spa since 2006.
Sue
I have been a licensed massage therapist for 24 years. I graduated from Connecticut center for Massage Therapy in August of 1997. Since then I have been providing massage to my private clients as well as working in many assorted massage venues. I can say, that in this time, I have not lost my desire to assist others on their journey of self-awareness. I incorporate methods of rehabilitation, stretching and energy work as needed. My approach is to listen to my clients needs physically as well as emotionally. I am so fortunate to be able to share this with others.
Danielle
Danielle is a passionate and skilled massage therapist who believes in the transformative power of touch. With a certificate from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and over 7 years of experience in clinical, chiropractic, neurology, and spa settings. Danielle has hiked her expertise in a wide range of modalities, including Swedish, prenatal, deep tissue, sports, stretch, cupping and reflexology. Danielle is so a licensed Esthetician with over 25 years experience in both medical and spa settings. She also has a bachelors degree in nutrition, and in 2022 she went back to school to become a nurse. Danielle takes a holistic approach to her practice, considering not only the physical but also the emotional aspects of the client’s well-being by creating a comfortable and nurturing environment where the client can relax. When not working, she enjoys cooking for her family, hiking with her two dogs, and kickboxing.
Matthew
My name is Matthew and I’m a licensed Esthetician at Inner Essence Spa. I graduated Paul Mitchell the School North Haven and have been practicing esthetics since 2021. I’m very passionate about skincare and specialize in facials, high frequency, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, manual lymphatic drainage, pressure point facial massages, and waxing services. Also, as I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, I cater to clients that speak either language! My primary goal as an esthetician is for each of my clients to have a relaxing and fulfilling experience while ensuring they benefit from the products and techniques being used per their individual needs. I want to spread my knowledge and expertise to help everyone achieve their most desired skincare goals, and hope to see you soon!
Timero
Timero has been studying massage since 2017. She has a passion for helping people and wants to change the world one massage at a time. In this world where we find ourselves more and more isolated, we are finding that the human touch and kindness are now more important than ever. Timero’s favorite kind of massage is prenatal, and she has studied alongside instructor Eliane Stillerman, one of the pioneers for Prenatal Massage.
